  • Community Services Block Grant Scholarship

    The CSBG Scholarship is designed, in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, to provide financial assistance to low-income and disadvantaged persons of high academic attainment or potential, with preference given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities.  Scholarships will gotoward providing formal education or occupational training in an accredited Illinois educational institution to CSBG-eligible clients, with particular consideration given to study in high technology areas or other growth occupations.  Applicant must be a DuPage County resident and have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.  Please go to their website for more information and to apply.  Deadline date:  May 12, 2017

  • Southwest Bar Association Scholarship

    Entrant must be a senior who attends high school and intends to attend a college or university following high school graduation.  Please pick up an applicaton with instruction regarding a legal essay which is to be completed.  Deadline date:  April 21

  • Garden Club of Hinsdale Scholarship

    The Garden Club of Hinsdale Scholarship of $1,200.00 is for a graduating senior who is interested in botany, environmental sciences or landscape design/installation.

  • Westmont Rotary Academic Grant Application

    The Westmont Rotary Club will award grants to High School seniors who are planning to continue their education beyond high school.  Students are eligible if they reside in the corporate limits of Westmont or attend Westmont High School.  Applicant must be in the top 25% of class and show involvement in school and/or community activiies (Leadership is a plus.)

    The Westmont Rotary Club will award grants to High School Seniors who are planning to continue their training beyond high school.  Students are eligible if they reside in the corporate limits of Westmont or attend Westmont High School.  Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 grade point average and have involvement in school and/or community actiities (Leadership is a plus.)

  • Eleanor L. Swartz Scholarship Fund

    Applicants to the Eleanor L. Swartz Scholarship Fund must be high school seniors who attend high school in Hinsdale Township High School District #86 and are planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

  • Kevin C. Kerekes Memorial Scholarship

    A $4,000.00 scholarship to be given as $1,000.00 a year for four yeats to a Hinsdale Central graduate who provides proof of being a full-time student in good standing.  Applicants are limited to seniors, both male and female, who have been runners on the cross-country and/or track teams. An applicant must achieve a minimum 4.0 GPA, exemplify team spirit, and display high standards and moral conduct.  Financial need is also a consideration.

  • Friends of Moraine Hills State Park Scholarship

    The organization Friends of Moraine Hills State Park is offering $1,000 scholarships to two 2017 high school graduates entering the field of environmental studies.  Applicant must attend a high school in Lake, McHenry, Kane, Boone, DuPage or Cook County, Illinois.  You must also plan to attend an accredited college or university and plan to enter a field of study and career directly related to the environment.  Applicants must also have a high school GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4 pt. scale.)

  • Wheaton Drama Scholarship

    The Wheaton Drama Scholarship, valued at $1,000, is being offered to students who participate in theatre arts activities in the school and/or the community, including coursework and/or volunteer work.  Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wheaton Drama Area high school entering a post-secondary institution in the subsequent academic year.

  • 2017 Marianjoy Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities

    Applications are now being accepted for the 23rd Annual Marianjoy Scholarship Program which provides financial assistance to students with physical disabilities who are planning to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.  Applicants who are eligible to apply include individuals with a permanent physical disability which may have resulted from brain injury, musculoskeletal impairments such as amputation or multiple trauma, neuromuscular disorders such as multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and guillain-barre syndrome, spinal cord injury or stroke.  Applicant must be a permanent resident in one of the following Illinois counties:  Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry or Will.  Former Marianjoy patients are eligible regardless of residence.  Marianjoy employees and their dependent children, as well as donors to the Marianjoy Scholarship Program and their family members are ineligible to apply.
